F-615 and F-815 Comparison
The new F800 series of pH and ORP electrodes have many performance improvements, including but not limited to lower drift post autoclave and an improved resistance to outside electrical interference. They also have improved materials, such as USP Class VI elastomers instead of our traditional FDA compliant elastomers. Additionally, they contain our new Stabilyte™ gel that is not only FDA compliant, but also certified by UL/MDT testing labs to be compliant with GLP cytotoxicity standards.
However, the improved performance and upgraded materials of construction do not affect the basic function of the electrodes in terms of their use and suitability. The temperature range, pH range, pressure range, and other performance parameters remain unchanged. The cap styles, connector types, signal output in mV, offset and span values, all remain the same.

F-815
The T-Pull® style FermProbe® F-815 pH electrode is designed to be used in bioprocess applications where CIP/SIP procedures are used. Built to withstand repeated steam sterilization cycles, the FermProbe quickly stabilizes after steam exposure to be back on-line in half the time of other electrodes.
F-835
The Model F-835 pH FermProbe® is built to withstand repeated high temperature sterilization by pressurized steam. The Pg13.5 cap design provides for insertion and removal of the electrode from its housing.
F-285
The Model F-285 pH FermProbe® is a sealed, gel-filled, sterilizable, autoclavable design with a built-in temperature element. This allows for the automatic compensation of Nernstian temperature effects in processes with wide pH ranges and significant temperature shifts.
F-895
The Model F-895 pH FermProbe® is built to withstand repeated high temperature sterilization by pressurized steam. The Pg13.5 cap design provides for insertion and removal of the electrode from its housing.
