The subject of the meeting concentrates on High-throughput Development through to Smart Manufacturing.  To be held on 22nd February 2016, at IChemE HQ, One Portland Place, London.

Organised by the Biochemical Engineering Special Interest Group to discuss and learn how automation has the potential to enhance throughput of an organisations’ operations through realising greater efficiencies, reduced timeframes and reduce/remove human error.

End-user case studies will be reviewed, demonstrating how automation systems have been used to enhance the development and delivery of biologics.

The focus will be on areas such as:

  • cell line and process development
  • streamlining the introduction of products into facilities
  • enabling emergent cell therapy technologies
  • realising the benefits in a manufacturing

Stakeholders looking at research and development of processes and products, suppliers of enabling technology to end-users, or managers seeking to update on the latest trends in the streamlining of the development of the manufacturing biologics are the target of this event.

Broadley-James Ltd will be exhibiting the latest advancements in automated sampling from Flownamics Inc.  The patented segmented on-line sampling technology enables sterile connection of multiple analytical instruments to your bioreactor providing “at-line” monitoring and automated control.
